Phoenix, Arizona is located in the American Southwest, along the Salt River. Not only is Phoenix the 5th largest city in the United States, but it is the largest state capital in the U.S. based on population. Phoenix is rich in American Pioneering history; however, in the past several years, Phoenix has seen a growth in its multiculturalism. With roots in ancient Native American culture, such as that of the Hohokam and the Anasazi, the city has easily adopted other cultures, including Spanish and Asian American influences. Phoenix has become one of the most diverse cities in the nation.
Phoenix isn't just a hub for American culture; the city also houses one of the largest number of Four and Five Diamond and Four and Five Star hotels and resorts. Worried about the weather? Don't be. On average Phoenix experiences about 300 days of sun. The annual average temperature is 72.6°F, with temperatures in Octobers reaching the high 80°sF.
There's plenty to do and see in the Greater Phoenix area, which will prove to be the perfect location for the 2008 Fuel Cell Seminar & Exposition.
